Did you know? In the past, meeScan required activation after being downloaded and installed on the user’s device. The activation was done either by scanning an activation barcode or by manual entry of the 8-digit library activation code.
Now, meeScan is automatically activated based on the user's location. The new 'Automatic Activation' feature performs system activation at the beginning of each session. This means that patrons downloading the meeScan app for the first time will not need to enter or scan an activation code. They simply enter their user credentials and can start checking out items. The process is seamless for the user.
When visiting other meeScan enabled libraries users will be able to use the system without the need to re-activate. meeScan automatically knows where they are!

Bintec just returned from the 2017 Evergreen International Conference in Kentucky. It was a great experience!
We enjoyed building relationships with Evergreen libraries, consortiums, collaborators and users from the Evergreen community. We discussed upcoming features, and we improved our knowledge of the software to enhance the meeScan experience.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new website!
You'll see things are looking pretty spiffy around here as well as with our services. In one short year, Bintec has grown tremendously with public, private and academic libraries joining what has become the meeScan library community.
